Electrical Apprentice and Teledata Apprentice Scholarship opportunity

The area's wage and benefit leader in the industry - Springfield Electrical JATC has opened their annual application process. We provide classroom education located in Springfield MA, and on the job training. You get paid a living wage (and BENEFITS package) while you learn!

Some of the basic requirements for becoming an apprentice are:

1. Minimum age 17 to apply, 18 to go to work
2. High School Education or GED
3. One Year of High School Algebra
4. Qualifying Score on an Aptitude Test
5. Drug Free
6. Driver's License and reliable transportation
7. Live within the 4 Western MA counties

Experience is welcome but not necessary.

Some of the qualities the JATC is looking for in applicants are:

- Positive Attitude

- Mechanical ability

- Initiative

- Punctuality/Attendance

- Ability to follow/read/take and understand direction
