Call Center Representative (PT)

Join Our Team at Uncle Gs Marketplace in Port Jefferson Station! Were currently looking for a part-time C all Center Representative to join the fast-paced and friendly office team at our gourmet store.

As a Call Center Representative, youll be the first point of contact for our customershandling a high volume of incoming calls with professionalism and care. Youll assist with general catering inquiries, provide top-notch customer service, and work to resolve any questions or concerns efficiently and courteously.

Responsibilities

• Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.
• Follow communication scripts when handling different topics
• Identify customers needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives.
• Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise.
• Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile.
• Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way.
• Frequently attend educational catering seminars provided by upper management to improve knowledge and performance levels.
• Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets.
• Other duties and functions as assigned

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a customer support role with high volume calls
• Track record of over-achieving quota
• Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
• Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
