Position Overview
The Electrical Project Manager will oversee large-scale electrical construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires both technical expertise and strong leadership skills to manage teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure seamless execution across multiple job sites nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, scheduling, and execution of electrical construction projects.
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking for each project.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Lead project meetings, provide progress updates, and resolve on-site challenges.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
- Support field teams to maintain high productivity and quality.
- Manage closeout procedures, including final inspections and client handoff.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing electrical construction projects (commercial, industrial, or large-scale preferred).
- Strong knowledge of NEC, electrical systems, and construction practices.
- Proven track record of delivering multi-million-dollar projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, etc.).
- Ability to travel nationally as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
