Daily Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity and detect ocular abnormalities or diseases.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
• Collaborate closely with Ophthalmology subspecialists to ensure coordinated patient care.

Required Skills:

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited program.
• California Optometry license
• Strong interest in ocular pathology and medical eye care.
• Knowledge of optical principles and ability to prescribe corrective lenses.
• Experience with eye-specific electronic medical records systems for accurate chart documentation.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
