Dental Hygienist

As a Dental Hygienist at Gonzales Dental, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to providing exceptional dental care to our patients.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance procedures
• Administer fluoride treatments and sealants
• Assist chairside with dental procedures
• Conduct periodontal charting and treatment planning
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.

Required Skills:

• Experience with nitrous oxide and local anesthesia
• Experience as a dental hygienist is preferred but not required.
• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Texas is Preferred.
• Knowledge of preventive care and scaling & root planing
• Ability to perform dental hygiene procedures with precision
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and hygiene equipment.
• Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide comprehensive care.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Familiarity with Open Dental will be great
• Familiarity with anesthesia administration
• Proficiency in treatment planning and X-ray interpretation

Job Type: Full Time - No weekends.

Employees may receive a $2,000 sign-in bonus upon completing 6 months of employment, subject to performance evaluation.
