Veterinarian

CityPets614 Animal Hospital is a growing, 5-doctor small animal hospital located in downtown Columbus with easy, convenient parking. We’re seeking a full-time or part-time veterinarian to join our compassionate, collaborative, and experienced team.

Founded in 2021, our hospital is modern, well-equipped, and deeply connected to our community. We proudly work with multiple local rescue groups and participate in regular community events. Our current veterinarians bring over 50 years of combined experience, creating an environment ideal for mentorship, growth, and collaboration.

What You Can Expect:

• Starting base pay: $85,000 – $125,000, plus production
• Flexible schedule with only 2 Saturdays per month
• 20–40 minute appointments to ensure high-quality, low-stress care
• 3–4 surgeries per day, with a strong support team
• PTO available
• Health insurance and Simple IRA with employer contribution
• Continuing Education allowance
• A modern facility with ultrasound, dental radiography, and cold laser therapy
• Additional services include boarding, grooming, and daycare

Hospital Hours:

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
• Current Ohio veterinary license (or eligibility)
• DEA eligibility
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift patients and equipment up to 25 pounds (heavier loads with assistance)
