We are looking someone to oversee Tax and Accounting , Someone who is ready to take the next step in their career and become a leader within our firm. This role is ideal for someone who wants to be more than just a preparer—you’ll help shape the future of our tax and accounting services.

Position Summary

As Manager of Tax and Accounting, you will lead the overall strategy and execution of our tax and accounting services. You will be responsible for overseeing tax preparation processes, working directly with high-value clients, and helping to grow our service offerings. You will also play a central role in developing and delivering value-added, fee-based services for both existing clients and new prospects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the firm’s tax planning and accounting division
  • Oversee the process for personal and business tax return preparation
  • Meet with key and top-tier clients to provide strategic tax guidance
  • Prepare and review complex individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
  • Identify and develop additional revenue-generating advisory services
  • Collaborate with team members to improve systems, workflows, and client experience
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff
  • Support business development efforts, including client onboarding and service expansion

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in tax preparation (personal and business)
  • CPA or Enrolled Agent designation preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working directly with clients
  • High level of professionalism, organization, and initiative
  • Experience with QuickBooks, tax software, and accounting workflows
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to grow with a firm and be part of a collaborative leadership team
