This is a unique opportunity for a proven concrete professional to take ownership of establishing a new facility, building a strong team, and ensuring high-quality precast production from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Setup & Leadership

  • Oversee the planning, setup, and launch of a new precast production facility, including equipment installation, workflow design, and production layout.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor production staff to create a strong, safety-focused team.
  • Establish standard operating procedures, production schedules, and quality systems from the ground up.

Concrete Production & Quality Control

  • Direct all phases of precast concrete production, including form setup, reinforcement placement, mixing, pouring, finishing, curing, and demolding.
  • Ensure consistent quality by monitoring mixes, slump, consolidation, finishing techniques, curing times, and dimensional tolerances.
  • Maintain accurate production records, quality reports, and batch documentation.
  • Implement and enforce ACI, PCI, and company standards for structural integrity and durability.

Daily Plant Management

  • Manage daily production schedules to meet output and delivery goals.
  • Coordinate material procurement, inventory management, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor production equipment, schedule maintenance, and minimize downtime.
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety policies, ensuring a culture of zero incidents.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency, waste reduction, and workflow optimization.

Customer-Facing Role

  • Represent Marinetek North America in a professional manner when customers, contractors, or project partners visit the facility.
  • Provide knowledgeable explanations of production processes, quality standards, and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with sales and project management teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and met in production.
  • Foster strong relationships by demonstrating transparency, professionalism, and attention to detail during customer interactions.

Impact on Major Projects

  • Play a key role in producing the structural backbone of Marinetek’s marina and waterfront developments.
  • Contribute to high-profile projects such as luxury marinas, yacht harbors, and commercial waterfronts across North America and the Caribbean.
  • Ensure precast components meet the demanding standards required for marine environments, where durability and precision are critical.
  • Take pride in seeing your team’s production work installed in world-class marine construction projects.

Qualifications

  • Must have 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in precast concrete production or a related heavy concrete manufacturing environment.  Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
  • Strong technical knowledge of concrete mixes, reinforcement, formwork, and curing practices a must.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents a must.
  • Experience in facility setup/startup strongly preferred.
  • Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with a commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Comfortable interacting with customers and project stakeholders in a professional setting.
