Location: Loves Park, Illinois (Rockford Area) 
On-site role with occasional travel to Schaumburg, IL and supplier locations 

 

About the Role 

Are you a hands-on engineer who loves solving problems and driving process improvements? 
We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support our soft-tipped, digital dart board assembly operations. In this role, you’ll be the key link between engineering, production, and quality teams, ensuring smooth production flow, continuous improvement, and top-tier product quality. 

As part of our growing Dart team, you’ll work directly on exciting projects that power TouchTunes’ in-venue entertainment technology.

What You’ll Do 

  • Provide hands-on support to production teams for immediate issue resolution and process stabilization. 

  • Implement and document Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in collaboration with design engineers. 

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, assembly instructions, and visual work aids. 

  • Conduct root cause analyses and drive corrective actions for production issues. 

  • Support validation of new tooling, fixtures, and test stations to improve manufacturing processes. 

  • Monitor production metrics, identify inefficiencies, and lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives

  • Coordinate First Article Inspections (FAI) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation. 

  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and aligned with our product lifecycle management systems. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Technology (preferred). 

  • 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing support or production engineering role. 

  • Strong experience and skills working in SOLIDWorks, or similar system. 

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and basic quality tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, Pareto). 

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with document control systems. 

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
