About the Role
Are you a hands-on engineer who loves solving problems and driving process improvements?
We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support our soft-tipped, digital dart board assembly operations. In this role, you’ll be the key link between engineering, production, and quality teams, ensuring smooth production flow, continuous improvement, and top-tier product quality.
As part of our growing Dart team, you’ll work directly on exciting projects that power TouchTunes’ in-venue entertainment technology.
What You’ll Do
Provide hands-on support to production teams for immediate issue resolution and process stabilization.
Implement and document Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in collaboration with design engineers.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, assembly instructions, and visual work aids.
Conduct root cause analyses and drive corrective actions for production issues.
Support validation of new tooling, fixtures, and test stations to improve manufacturing processes.
Monitor production metrics, identify inefficiencies, and lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
Coordinate First Article Inspections (FAI) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation.
Ensure all documentation is accurate and aligned with our product lifecycle management systems.
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Technology (preferred).
2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing support or production engineering role.
Strong experience and skills working in SOLIDWorks, or similar system.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and basic quality tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, Pareto).
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with document control systems.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.

Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Loves Park, IL.
Reliable transportation is required to travel to the production facility and occasionally to Schaumburg, IL and supplier locations.
