Job Title: Senior Manager of Operations

Job Summary/Purpose
The Senior Manager of Operations will possess a high level of understanding of how to lead patient care teams in a healthcare delivery environment. They are responsible for the operations of an EyeCare Partners Ophthalmology practice as assigned. This leader will oversee the professional development of the team within the operation, develop and implement growth strategies for daily operations best practices, and will partner with other leaders to execute the practice's strategic vision. They are a key leadership member and will work in a fast-paced, but flexible and engaging environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee Managers and staff at the clinics, centers and offices.
- Think strategically; identify where practice operations could be in 12-24 months, and support plans in partnership with practice/ASC leadership and Physicians to assist in achieving strategic destination.
- Demonstrate knowledge of mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards and the code of ethical behavior.
- Manage and oversee operations staff at the clinic.
- Remain educated and in-tune with trends in healthcare, reimbursement, operations, etc. on a national and local level.
- Identify goals and translate them into functional and actionable goals for the team.
- Achieve cooperation and teamwork through effective communications and positive relations with Physicians, leadership and staff.
- Partner with practice Physicians to identify Doctor needs, areas for specialty expansion and Physician recruitment.
- Work to continuously assess all staffing needs in support of practice operations and drive for continued upskilling of talent through hiring, identify changes to Physician schedules and adjust coverage as needed.
- Carry out corporate EyeCare Partners initiatives.
Minimum Demonstrated Skill
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare Management required.
- Master's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- 5+ years of practice management experience required.
- Experience in a multi-site organization.
- Experience working in a growth-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical ability and strategic/critical thinker.
- Values efficiency, change and performance.
- Computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Software and Operating Systems, and Compulink
- Ability to plan and oversee projects as assigned, budget-minded.
- Willingness to travel to all locations as assigned.
