The Production Supervisor Intern directs the daily operations of a production team operating on a rotating 2-shift schedule. Responsible for leading teams in the various processes of the production of corrugated containers in a safe, cost effective manner, while ensuring that product meets all customer and company standards.
Job duties include but not limited to:
- Ensure crew safety and compliance with plant rules and policies.
- Solve production issues and optimize machine efficiency.
- Engage crews in streamlining daily processes.
- Act as a key communicator between employees and management.
- Prioritize jobs, workflow, and crew assignments and production planning.
Requirements:
- Pursuing degree in packaging, manufacturing, engineering or business-related field
- M ust be a self-starter
- Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills
