Job Description


This position is responsible for the oversight of nursing services in all MAT clinics and will be responsible for interviewing, hiring, orientation and supervision of all staff under their direction. Also responsible for following all nursing standards set forth by the nursing board, as well as other accrediting bodies such as the Department of Children and Families, CARF, and the Agency for Healthcare Administration.

  • Provide supervision of nursing services in MAT clinics.
  • Ensures that adequate coverage is available to meet 65D-30, CARF or other requirements.
  • Supervises and supports direct reports to ensure that nursing service delivery is safe, effective, evidence based, and person centered.
  • Works with MAT Director to expand options for those in treatment services.
  • Works with the other program managers in MAT in developing and/or revising policies/procedures according to all applicable governing bodies such as CARF, 65D30 (DCF), SAMSHA, Florida Board of Pharmacy, and the DEA.
  • Ensures that needed supplies are always available and ordered in a timely manner to provide continuity of service.
  • Review dosing reports for each clinic and enter information into state and federal reporting systems.
  • Provides regular staff supervision and participates in weekly CRT (Clinical Review Training) meetings.
  • Monitoring and maintaining adequate staff coverage.
  • Assis with patient care as needed.
  • Complete regular Peer Audits for medical staff.

Who are we looking for?

 Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a degree in Nursing. Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida, supplemented with 3–5 years of responsible nursing experience in management—preferably in MAT services facility. Must have Medication Assisted Treatment skills and be proficient in the use of computers and programs utilized by the facility."
