Responsibilities
- Own the electrical infrastructure from utility power intake through MCC distribution.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing systems; specify and size transformers for new equipment.
- Conduct thermographic studies and analyze heat data for preventive maintenance.
- Perform preventive maintenance on transformers, switchgear, and MCCs during scheduled shutdowns, including July 4th.
- Update and maintain single-line diagrams and main power distribution drawings.
- Prepare technical reports for internal teams and governing agencies.
- Collaborate with the automation team on Allen-Bradley VFDs and PLCs within a Wonderware-based BMS.
- Support utilities infrastructure, including purified water, chilled water, steam, and compressed air.
- Troubleshoot gauges, meters, panels, and electrical systems on the floor.
Essential Skills
- 57 years of experience in industrial electrical infrastructure.
- Strong familiarity with medium voltage systems (13.2 kV).
- Proficiency with SKM software for arc flash and electrical studies.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- PE (Professional Engineer) license.
- Experience in PLC programming for utility systems such as water, steam, air, and building automation.
