- Collaborate with survey managers and project teams to understand project specifications and scope.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other software to create 2D and/or 3D designs for land surveying projects.
- Prepare topographic, ALTA, boundary, and other types of survey mapping drawings.
- Work with field crews to accurately draft survey data.
- Create layouts for land surveys, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations.
- Prepare easement descriptions and exhibits.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Experience in survey CAD, land surveying, topographic surveys, and ALTA surveys.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Survey CAD experience is strongly preferred; experience in other civil engineering disciplines is also valuable.
- A degree in civil engineering or CAD is preferred.
- Ability to take training and implement it into day-to-day responsibilities.
Work Environment The position requires working 100% in the office. Candidates with field experience may also be utilized in fieldwork. The survey group has expanded from 2 to over 20 members in recent years, offering opportunities for growth and career development.
