Essential Duties:
- Provide process leadership to the project teams throughout initiatives’ lifecycle from concept to implementation and closure, including mentorship on best practices and project management standards
- Manage project functions of project management, requirements, testing and implementation
- Directly Lead multiple mid-size to enterprise-wide projects concurrently following project management standards
- Generate custom reports (e.g., project status, budget, metrics, and resource allocation), and create standard and customized dashboards to produce key insights for leadership reporting and decision-making
- Develop, advocate, promote and lead the institutionalization of project management best practices, standards, and procedures
- Drive continuous improvement of project management processes. Establish project management processes and templates to institutionalize program management
- Oversee the implementation of metrics on cost, quality, time to implement, and delivery of business value on all projects across various business segments
- Ensure effective communication and change management to increase the adoption rate and effectiveness of new business solutions
- Establish and maintain a resource planning capability to identify resource capacity and load. Work with staff to align project load with capacity
- Regularly brief leadership on the project portfolio, schedules, and release plans, and work with the senior leadership team to assess the need for shifting priorities, additional capacity, and prioritization of the portfolio backlog
- Escalate portfolio risk as appropriate
- Actively participate and contribute to associated areas of the strategic plan including facilitating workgroups, taskforces, and committees using a model of person-centered shared leadership
- Participate in vendor software forums and education opportunities, and be familiar with product releases and enhancements to grow and maintain product knowledge and expertise
- Model and promote organizational philosophies of person–centeredness and shared leadership in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in meetings and training sessions that offer learning opportunities and that promote and enhance skills and professional development
- Ensure that assigned organizational project objectives are met
- Perform all duties as described, and others as required, using the foundation of the organization’s philosophies and values
Supervisory Duties:
- Supervise EPM team staff as specified, such as Project Managers, Business Analysts, Testers
- Assist Operations Team Members with their daily responsibilities and provide policy and procedure guidance as needed to aide in successfully fulfilling their job duties
- Work collaboratively with leaders to identify and achieve professional development goals
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Education in IT, project management, operations management, business management, human services or related field is preferred
- At least one current and relevant certification is preferred (PMP®, PgMP®, PfMP®, CSM® CAL®, etc.)
Experience Required:
- 5 years supervisory management of IT team working project lifecycle
- 8 years of project management, progressively increasing responsibilities including multifunctional programs, change management functions, risk assessment and vendor management
- Enterprise level PMO and program management experience required
- Demonstrated strong concurrent project and large implementation management skills
- Demonstrated ability to align / focus resources across the organization in achieving short and long-term goals
- Experience coaching and mentoring others in project management best practices and business analysis
- Experience using project management tools such as MS Project, SmartSheet, Jira
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies; track record working with vendors employing waterfall, agile and hybrid approaches
- Familiarity with the fields of intellectual and developmental disabilities, older adults, medically complex needs, human services, case management, and/or nonprofits a plus

Physical Demands: Generally, presents standard office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position >95% of the time. Continually operates a computer, keyboard and mouse, and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, printer, and mobile Smartphone device. Constantly positions self to comfortably maintain computer equipment. May occasionally be required to move about in an office setting or position office equipment weighing between 10-25 pounds. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Ability to operate a motor vehicle. The person in this position frequently communicates with other people. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
IT Roles must be able to position self to maintain computers and equipment, including under desks and in server room(s). Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
