Senior Business Intelligence Analyst - SAP BW

SUMMARY

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will support Optometry, Ophthalmology and corporate analytic needs for report development, cost & profitability analytics, month-end financials and analysis using data analytic and business intelligence tools. This position has a primary responsibility for report writing, dashboard creation ETL data flows & analysis, including data validation. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for writing necessary reports and analyzing the report results to identify trends and relevant information associated with the data.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain, develop, and support user data needs with the SAP BW analytics tool suite.
• Identify, scope, and document analytics and business intelligence (BI) opportunities.
• Document the business definition and logic for the key performance metrics of the company.
• Manage report development lifecycle including Requirements, Design, Development, Testing, and Support.
• Leverage all aspects of BI technologies and architecture such as delivery mechanisms, data model/architecture, data integration/ETL and reporting tools.
• Analyze data, design and develop complex custom reports and dashboards using in-house reporting platforms with little or no supervision.
• Validate report results against requirements for consistency and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and analyze data issues within reports.
• Develop and maintain data acquisition processes from vendor and in-house applications utilizing Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) tools.
• Understand business operations, technology, and data flows to serve the needs of the business.
• Work closely with project teams in prioritization, testing, and deployment of system change requests.
• Participate in thorough testing of the changes to guarantee quality products for the business
• Work closely with various technical teams to ensure consistency, quality of solutions and knowledge sharing across the enterprise
• Perform production support activities through incident and problem management processes. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues and coordinate with business and technical teams to resolve them based on SAP best practice processes.
• Work with cross-functional team members in SAP (Supply chain, SD, ABAP, Purchasing), Integration, BI, and other non-SAP applications to design efficient and secure data exchange integrations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong knowledge of all aspects of SDLC, Software Development Life Cycle.
• Excel in delivering initiatives on time, within budget, and in alignment with organizational strategy and business goals.
• Sound technical understanding of latest Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence environments.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data, recognize significant factors, relationships, and trends to formulate conclusions and solutions.
• Solve complex business data designs from an enterprise perspective.
• Tool sets include multi-dimensional and relational database systems, data propagation tools, star and snowflake design, performance monitoring tools, data modeling tools, reporting/BI tools, statistical analysis, web-enabled access, prototyping for end-user requirements, and project management software.
• Strong interpersonal, conceptual, presentation and communication skills to sell ideas to business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with business stakeholders and technical teams
• Ability to work effectively in a flexible and changing environment, manage multiple activities and priorities, and work well under pressure.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree related to information technology, software engineering or computer science
  6+ years of professional experience in SAP BW.LICENSES AND CREDENTIALS

SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY

• Subject matter expert in SAP reporting; BW Query Development, Business Objects, Analysis for Office and SAP Analytics Cloud.

• EyeCare Partners Corporate Headquarters is in St Louis, Missouri and offers a hybrid work schedule. Candidates living in Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, N.
