About the role
Keep a local Class 8 fleet (Kenworth/Peterbilt) running strong. You’ll diagnose, repair, and perform PMs with modern diagnostic tools in a safety-first shop. Concrete mixer/cement truck experience is a plus (not required). You’re home every night.

What you’ll do

• Diagnose/repair engines (Cummins/PACCAR), after-treatment (DPF/DEF/EGR), air brakes/ABS, hydraulics/PTO, A/C, electrical

• Perform preventive maintenance and keep DOT-compliant records

• Use shop + OEM software (e.g., INSITE, Davie4 or equivalents)

• Plan work with the fleet manager to minimize downtime

• Occasional roadside/emergency support as needed

• Follow PPE and LOTO procedures; help keep a clean, safe shop

What you bring

• 3–5+ years as a Class 8 diesel mechanic (tractor/truck)

• Hands-on Kenworth/Peterbilt experience

• Strong diagnostics across engines, after-treatment, hydraulics

• Own basic tools up to 1-1/2” / 1-1/4” (metric equivalents too)

• Self-directed, works with minimal supervision, takes ownership

• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)

Nice to have

• Concrete mixer/cement truck experience (drums, pumps, hydraulics)

• ASE Medium/Heavy Truck certs; basic welding/fab
