POSITION DESCRIPTION DETAILS

The Construction Estimator will generate detailed cost-analysis and scope of work estimates using historical data, contractor quotes, and site surveys. This position provides clients and stakeholders with thorough explanations of pricing and cost details based on gathered data and supported with further estimates of projected maintenance costs and expected product lifetime. In addition, this role acts as a mentor to junior members of the estimating team.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Manage bid lists, assignments, and review bid performance with Sales Executives.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial roofing projects using Edge, including site visits and data collection.
• Analyze historical data, solicit contractor quotes, and create cost comparisons.
• Support project monitoring, junior estimator training, and assist with other duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE

• Bachelor's degree in business or relevant field
• 5+ years of experience in construction, preferably in a field related to commercial roofing
• Thorough knowledge of contract relationships, subcontracting, and vendor relations
• Ability to read blueprints
• Proficient in Edge Estimating or other similar software
• Strong computer proficiency
• Ability to mentor and train others

SALARY RANGE

$70,000 - $95,000 + Bonus
