Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital offers compassionate, high-quality inpatient and outpatient mental health and co-occurring treatment for teens, adults, and seniors. We provide a full-range of evidence-based medical and clinical services in a state-of-the-art healing environment. Programs include inpatient mental health and co-occurring treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).
How you'll contribute
The Outpatient Therapist is responsible for coordinating, developing, and delivering therapeutic interventions and curriculum tailored to meet the psychological and emotional needs of patients across the lifespan. Serving as a key member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, the Therapist takes a lead role in treatment planning, crisis stabilization, and facilitating patient and family involvement throughout the care process. Utilizing a biopsychosocial model, the Therapist provides individual, group, and family therapy, psychoeducation, and crisis intervention. The role includes comprehensive discharge planning, coordination with community resources, and post-hospital care arrangements. The Therapist ensures accurate and timely documentation, contributes to performance improvement initiatives, and provides clinical education to staff. This position requires a compassionate, professional approach and a strong commitment to patient-centered care and recovery.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have
Graduate from an approved college or university with a master's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychiatric Nursing or closely related field.
Current license or eligibility for license as a LMSW, ALC, LMFT, LPC, or LICSW in the State of Massachusetts required.
Minimum two (2) years demonstrated excellence in counseling and social work
Ability to manage clinical programs and milieu therapy

Salary range: $72,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year
