Job Description

Job Overview

As our Commercial Lines Account Manager, you’ll be a key player in supporting our commercial clients and internal team. You’ll handle renewals, policy changes, billing support, and maintain ongoing client communication with warmth and precision. You’ll juggle the details like a pro while helping clients feel seen, supported, and secure.

This is a full-time role for someone who’s not only experienced in the insurance industry but also thrives on organization, follow-through, and authentic connection. You’ll thrive here if you’re proactive, relationship-driven, and committed to making the complex feel simple for clients.

At CORE Insurance, we don’t just process policies; we protect what matters most to our clients. We’re guided daily by our Core Values:

  • Bring the Joy – We show up with positivity, professionalism, and a can-do attitude.
  • Grow Together – We encourage one another, stay accountable, and keep the customer at the center.
  • Master the Craft – We are humbly obsessive about accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
  • Do the Right Thing – We lead with integrity, follow through on our promises, and own our outcomes.
  • The Reputation We Keep – We serve with compassion, respect, and exceptional care.

We’re a close-knit team that values collaboration, kindness, and clarity. If you’re looking for a place where your expertise matters and your values align with how we do business, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support the sales team by analyzing client needs, completing insurance applications, and securing timely quotes and policies from eligible carriers
  • Issue and verify binders, certificates, endorsements, and policy documents, ensuring accuracy and clear communication with clients
  • Prepare insurance summaries, premium comparisons, renewal proposals, and policy schedules
  • Manage policy renewals, cancellations, and changes in coordination with the sales team, focusing on retention and risk management
  • Identify coverage gaps, cross-sell opportunities, and book growth potential
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, vendors, and internal team members through professional, timely communication
  • Stay current on industry trends, product knowledge, quoting platforms, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritize workflows and deliver exceptional service with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience in the insurance industry, with deep expertise in commercial lines and client service
  • Active Texas General Lines – Property & Casualty License (required)
  • Proficiency in Applied EPIC and the Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software and systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to explain complex insurance concepts clearly and professionally
  • Advanced knowledge of insurance products, markets, rating, and underwriting procedures
  • Proven ability to handle complex tasks and variables with accuracy and efficiency
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to take on assigned tasks and contribute to a collaborative team culture
