Join Our Team as a Paraprofessional at Universal Speech Therapy, Inc.

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? Do you have a desire to support Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) in creating a positive and engaging learning environment? If so, Universal Speech Therapy, Inc. is looking for a dedicated Paraprofessional to join our team in Gilroy, CA. 

Daily Responsibilities:

• Utilize various instructional strategies to enhance student learning
• Work with elementary and high school students in classroom settings
• Manage behavior and create a positive learning environment
• Provide individualized assistance to students with disabilities in the classroom
• Helping to implement accommodations and modifications for students with special needs
• Provide support during assessments and testing
• Collaborating with school staff 
• Helping to ensure student safety and well-being
• Assisting with daily classroom management and organization
• Providing a positive and supportive learning environment for students with disabilities.

Required Skills:

• Experience in elementary education or early childhood education
• Understanding of child development and individualized education programs
• Ability to implement behavior management strategies for special needs students

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in tutoring or educating students one-on-one
• First aid certification

Salary:

This position offers a competitive salary starting at $25/per hour

This is a contract 1099 positions, only work days school is in session
