A Student Health Center is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in New York City, New York.

This role has a one-week credentialing timeframe and offers a flexible schedule of either two days per week (10 a.m.3 p.m.) or one full day (9 a.m.5 p.m.), with no call. The provider will see 510 patients daily, primarily adults and some older students, ages 17+. Requirements include an active NY license, DEA, and BLS certification. There is no support staff, so the provider will handle vitals, lab work, and blood draws. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with womens health, including pap smears, and preferably be Medicaid enrolled. Experience with a large Hispanic population is valuable, and Spanish-speaking ability is preferred but not required.
