Accounting Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Coordinator to join our finance team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, invoicing, daily and month-end reporting, account reconciliation, and communicating with customers and employees.

Our ideal candidate is familiar with all accounting procedures and can manage daily financial transactions end-to-end.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Processing invoices and payments.
  • Process purchase orders.
  • Enter credit card expenses for assigned Companies.
  • Assist with vendor payables.
  • Quarterly and Annual audits.
  • Managing account receivable transactions.
  • Resolving payment discrepancies.
  • Preparing financial reports.
  • Communicating with clients and vendors.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Keeping track of all payments and ensuring they are correctly applied to customer accounts.
  • Identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments.
  • Preparing reports on accounts receivable status.
  • Implementing and maintaining internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
  • Processing refunds and write-offs.
  • Efficient, multi follow ups if needed, trustworthy, responsible, Qucikbooks and Account Receivable experience, soft spoken & client communication skills.
  • Company confidentiality with the employees.

Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or accountant.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
  • Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting, such as Quickbooks, SmartSheets, Excel, Adobe
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
