NJ - based Employment Law Paralegal ( Remote )

The Law Firm of Gina Bilotti, a boutique employment law firm advocating for executive women, is seeking an experienced paralegal with a strong background in employment law to join our team.

Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled, detail-oriented paralegal with at least 5 years of experience in New Jersey employment law litigation, including state and federal practice. You will work closely with the attorney on all aspects of case management, from intake to resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the "right hand" of attorney

• Draft and file pleadings, discovery demands/responses, and case management statements

• Organize and maintain case files and deadlines

• Assist with deposition preparation and trial exhibits

• Conduct legal research specific to NJLAD, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, and related employment statutes

• Communicate with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel professionally and promptly

• Manage calendars, deadlines, and case-related correspondence

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a paralegal in employment law (NJLAD experience strongly preferred)

• Strong knowledge of NJ Court Rules and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure

• Proficiency with e-filing systems (NJCourts eCourts, CM/ECF)

• Excellent writing, organization, and communication skills

• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines

• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred

Location:
Primarily remote with potential for very limited in-person meetings as needed in Central New Jersey.
