OOperations Data Analyst

The Operations Data Analyst is responsible supporting the Operations team by identifying and analyzing key performance indicators that drive business performance. This role involves preparing recurring reports and conducting ad hoc analyses to assist both corporate and property-level teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills. In addition, the Operations Data Analyst will apply systems analysis techniques, including collaborating with users to define reporting requirements, reviewing and interpreting system data, and recommending improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Reports to: Director of Operations Data and Analytics

Direct Reports: None

Travel: 10%

  • Review system reports and property submissions for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare and consolidate routine reports for distribution to corporate and property teams
  • Conduct ongoing audits to identify training needs and opportunities for operational improvement
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting through system audits and data validation
  • Assist with data setup and maintenance for reporting templates
  • Perform ad hoc data analyses to support business needs
  • Conduct regular audits to uncover training gaps and enhance operational processes
  • Provide support during property audits, unit turns, and employee-related tasks
  • Assist with due diligence efforts, special projects, and process improvement initiatives
  • Support the transition and onboarding of new properties

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred .
  • Experieince in the student housing industry preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint
