Compensation: $20 – $23/hour based on experience

Shift: Full-Time | 32 - 40 hours per week (primarily morning shifts) On-call Monday–Friday to support staff if needed

Are you an experienced Assistant Manager or Team Lead ready to bring your leadership skills to a fun, dog-filled environment? Woo Woo’s Pet Adventure in Marlborough, MA is seeking an Assistant Manager (Pet Care Supervisor) to support our growing team.

This role is perfect for someone with strong management experience who loves animals, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and wants to be hands-on in a unique workplace where every day is a little different.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open or close the daycare (primarily opening shifts)
• Supervise and support a team of 4–5 employees
• Coach, train, and guide staff to maintain professionalism and teamwork
• Assist with scheduling, timesheet checks, and general operations
• Provide excellent customer service (phones, emails, and in-person)
• Conduct employee evaluations and assist with hiring/firing decisions
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for dogs and clients
• Step in during emergencies with calm, clear leadership
• Post engaging content to Instagram & Facebook

What We’re Looking For:

• Must-have: Previous management, supervisory, or assistant manager experience (any industry)
• Nice-to-have: Experience caring for pets (your own, or for friends/family) or familiarity with animal care environments
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking
• Loves dogs and feels comfortable being around them every day
• Willingness to learn how to read dog body language (training provided if needed)
