General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital in Manhattan Beach, California, seeking an Associate Veterinarian. The hospital provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats, ranging from routine wellness to complex medical cases, and is committed to delivering the highest standards of medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and closed on Sundays. This is a full-time role with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, providing three days off.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied caseload, from preventive care and wellness exams to advanced diagnostics and complex medical cases. Clinical responsibilities include dentistry, dermatology, ophthalmology, diagnostic imaging, soft tissue surgery, cold laser therapy, EKG, ultrasound, and alternative medicine options such as acupuncture and herbal treatments. Students and new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated mentorship.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited, Fear-Free certified, and Feline Friendly. Facilities include a dedicated dental suite, digital radiography, ultrasound, cold/therapeutic lasers, hands-free radiology, and advanced surgical and diagnostic equipment such as laser surgery and Tonopen. The hospital combines modern technology with holistic and alternative medicine options, reflecting a comprehensive approach to veterinary care.

Team
The hospital is staffed by three DVMs supported by a skilled and compassionate team of technicians and support staff. The environment is collaborative, mentoring-focused, and dedicated to providing the best possible care for pets while supporting the professional growth of veterinarians.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
