What will you be doing?
The Purchasing and Supply Chain Center (PSCC) is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Administrative Services Coordinator to manage the complex calendars and scheduling needs of our Business Unit Leads (BULs). This role requires proactive communication with executive leadership, collaboration across scheduling teams, and support of administrative operations within the PSCC.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily and long-term calendars for multiple BULs, identify potential conflicts, and resolve scheduling issues with discretion and professionalism.
  • Coordinate and prioritize activities, action items, and deadlines; bring critical matters to the leaders attention and execute necessary follow-ups.
  • Organize and support major meetings, events, and weekly administrative support meetings within PSCC.
  • Facilitate information sharing with other business units, departments, and centers; maintain strong collaborative relationships.
  • Assist with additional administrative and planning tasks as directed.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information and communications.
  • Understand Honda corporate policies, HR activities, and company guidelines; apply them in daily activities.

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent business experience required.
  • 3-5 years of executive support or similar business experience.
  • Proven ability to make independent decisions and judgements.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency a must.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience managing sensitive contacts and information with professionalism.
  • Ability to summarize and deliver information concisely and appropriately, using email, text, face-to-face, and presentations.
  • Demonstrated time management skills and ability to handle deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Experience working in an open office environment.
  • Some overtime may be required based on department targets and deadlines.
