At Whiteline Express, youll keep our trucks and trailers running strong. Youll handle diagnostics, maintenance, and full repairs on brakes, transmissions, rear-ends, clutches, diesel engines, electrical systems, and welding or fabrication work. Youll remove, fix, reinstall, and adjust parts, inspect your work, and make sure everything meets safety rules and regulations.
Youll also lead the crew, assign tasks, check work, guide on tough repairs, and help train others. Youll manage parts using TMT, handle after-hours repairs when needed, respond to service calls, and keep maintenance records up to date. Youll open and close the shop and make sure everything runs smoothly and safely.
Were looking for someone with solid diesel mechanic experience (lead or supervisory experience is a plus), strong mechanical, electrical, and welding skills, and the ability to use diagnostic tools and repair software (TMT a bonus). You need a valid drivers license (CDL preferred or willing to get one) and the flexibility to work varied hours, including after-hours calls.
