Occupational Therapist

Position Overview
We’re seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist with a focus in hand therapy to provide specialized rehabilitation services. You’ll evaluate upper extremity conditions, develop customized treatment plans, and collaborate with patients, physicians, and facility staff to restore function and improve quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with medically necessary occupational and hand therapy services
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with referring physicians
• Fabricate custom splints and casts for complex diagnoses
• Supervise therapy assistants and aides
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for physicians, payers, and case managers
• Educate patients on home programs, job modifications, and energy conservation techniques
• Participate in clinical meetings, student internships, and continuing education
• Ensure compliance with AOTA standards, Medicare, OSHA, and state regulations

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (ACOTE or AOTA-approved)
• Active state licensure in one or more listed states
• Advanced training in hand therapy and physical agent modalities preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and manual therapy skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
• Current CPR certification
