Job Summary and Qualifications- The role of the Registered Nurse is to perform patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager. The Registered Nurse provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, and in support of the mission of Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
- Schedule: 6 12-hr shifts per 4 week schedule including rotating weekends.
- Gain diverse clinical experience in Mother Baby/Postpartum, Labor & Delivery/Antepartum, and Pediatrics/NICU while working in a high-volume, fast-paced maternal services department with stronger leadership support and excellent opportunities for skill development.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
- BLS required upon hire. NRP certification required within 1 month of hire. ACLS required for Labor & Delivery/Antepartum and Womens Surgery. PALs required for Pediatrics.
- Previous clinical experience in a minimum of two of the five areas served by Womens Services Float Pool. Mother Baby, NICU, Labor & Delivery / Antepartum, Pediatrics, Womens Surgery
