The Recruiter will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates to fill staffing needs across the organization. This role will work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, create job postings, and ensure a smooth hiring process. The Recruiter will also maintain candidate pipelines and support employer branding efforts to attract top talent.How YOU can Make an Impact:
Manage full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Collaborate with department managers to create detailed job descriptions and define hiring criteria that align with organizational needs.
Identify and implement effective recruitment strategies, leveraging industry standards and best practices to attract top talent.
Screen resumes and applications, selecting qualified candidates based on job requirements and organizational fit.
Coordinate and conduct interviews, ensuring the process is thorough and consistent across all candidates.
Assist with the offer process, collaborating with hiring managers to determine salary, benefits, and start dates, and extending offers to selected candidates.
Ensure compliance with employment laws (federal, state, and local) and organizational policies throughout the recruitment process.
Represent the company at career fairs and recruiting events, promoting the organization and engaging with potential candidates.
Act as a liaison between hiring managers and candidates, addressing challenges, delays, and miscommunication. Take proactive steps to resolve conflicts, keep hiring managers on track, and move candidates through the process efficiently.
Manage hiring delays by staying persistent, pushing candidates through the process while maintaining professionalism and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Foster strong communication, particularly by using phone conversations for more effective and timely interactions with hiring managers, instead of relying solely on email, to ensure prompt decision-making and resolution of issues.
Facilitate conflict resolution between hiring managers and candidates or between different departments when disagreements arise, aiming for a positive outcome that benefits the organization.
Support onboarding and new hire orientation, ensuring a smooth transition for candidates joining the organization.
Ensure follow-up with hiring managers on their decisions and progress, actively managing expectations and timelines.
Perform other HR-related duties as required to support the recruitment function and team.
What we Ask of YOU:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Finance, Sales, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline) from an accredited institution preferred.
Additional certifications or specialized training may be required depending on the function (e.g., Certified Human Resources Professional (PHR) for HR roles, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for Finance roles, etc.).
Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in the specific functional area (e.g., HR, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, etc.).
Experience in healthcare, correctional healthcare, or a regulated industry is preferred.
Demonstrated success in applying function-specific skills (e.g., employee relations for HR, financial reporting for Finance, or sales strategy for Sales) is required.
Knowledge of relevant industry-specific regulations, compliance standards, and best practices may be required, particularly for roles in highly regulated functions like HR and Finance.
Relevant industry certifications based on the role (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, CPA, etc.).
Active CPR/BLS certificate required (American Heart Association/American Red Cross guideline approved), if role is located in a correctional facility.
