Role Overview

Position: Sous Chef
Location: Ridgefield, CT
We’re seeking a passionate and versatile Sous Chef who thrives in dynamic kitchens and brings creative flair to every plate.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with the Head Chef to consistently deliver high-quality Italian and contemporary cuisine.

• Contribute to menu innovation, assisting with new dish development and seasonal specials.

• Lead daily prep and production, supervising line cooks and ensuring smooth service.

• Maintain high standards of food quality, artistry, presentation, and kitchen efficiency.

• Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are upheld at all times.

• Foster team spirit by training and motivating staff while modeling professionalism.

Who You Are

• Experienced as a Sous Chef or Senior Line Cook in a full-service, higher-end restaurant.

• Strong foundation in Italian cuisine; bonus if you’re skilled with sushi or crudo.

• Creative, collaborative, and detail-oriented with a passion for hospitality.
