Material Handler & Receiving Inspector

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Transferring and issuing raw material to work orders using the ERP System in a timely manner
• Collaborates with buyer/planner to determine when product stock is needed
• Receive and return raw material into inventory after each work order job completion
• Conducts cycle counts when appropriate
• Updates and maintains our inventory system
• Receiving newly arrived raw material when necessary and maintaining lot traceability
• Moving material to required area when necessary
• Coordinate with buyer/planner regarding stem retrieval when quantities meet necessary amounts
• Prepare/coordinate outside orders for shipping
• Receive and inspect daily deliveries for correctness, adherence to paperwork while ensuring packages/material is catalogued properly and efficiently
• Daily use of forklift and scissor lift
• Other duties as necessary

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma / GED
• Experience working with an MRP/ERP environment preferred
• Hands-on experience with inventory control preferred
• Forklift Experience required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Move/Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs. with help from handling equipment
• Standing up to 8+ hours per day
• Reach with hands and arms
