Opening March 2026, The New Cumberland is a luxury boutique resort community in Nashville, TN, featuring:
- 80 high-end STR units (4-5 bedrooms each with rooftop entertainment spaces)
- Indoor/outdoor event venue for weddings, corporate and private gatherings – The Crystal Atrium
- On-site convenience store, community pool, custom pool bar, pickleball courts, 24/7 security and much more.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Revenue Management to oversee pricing, distribution, and revenue strategies for The New Cumberland/The Crystal Atrium. This role is responsible for maximizing revenue, optimizing occupancy, and driving profitability across a diverse portfolio of vacation rental properties. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of STR market dynamics, and proven expertise in leveraging technology and data to achieve revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
•Develop, implement, and monitor revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy, ADR (Average Daily Rate), and RevPAR across all properties.
•Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and booking patterns to adjust pricing and distribution strategies in real-time.
•Manage and optimize performance across multiple distribution channels, including Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, direct booking platforms, and OTAs.
•Oversee demand forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting for ownership and leadership teams.
•Partner with marketing, operations, and reservations teams to align promotions, guest experience, and revenue objectives.
•Implement yield management strategies for peak seasons, special events (e.g., CMA Fest, Titans games, concerts), and local demand drivers.
•Manage and maintain our PMS and RMS systems.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Economics, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree a plus).
•3+ years of revenue management experience in hotels, resorts, or short-term rentals (STR experience highly preferred).
•Strong understanding of Nashville’s tourism, STR market, and major demand generators.
•Familiarity with wedding, corporate event, or group sales revenue strategies is a plus.
