Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to serve as our Medical Front Office Manager. This leadership role requires an individual who demonstrates eextreme ownership and conscientiousness-even in the smallest details of their work. The right candidate willensure that front office operations run seamlessly, while inspiring and influencing their team to uphold the highest standards of service, accuracy, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the medical front office team
- Ensure accuracy in patient scheduling, check-in/ check-out, insurance verification, and medical records management.
- Develop, implement and monitor workflows to improve efficiency and patient experience
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to front office staff
- Collaborate with clinical providers and management to optimize patient care delivery
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and all organizational policies
- Model and reinforce a culture of ownership, accountability, and excellence
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a medical receptionist in a healthcare setting (required)
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence, motivate and manage a team.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and following through with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in medical office procedures and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a medical office
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
