We are partnered with firms seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistants with litigation backgrounds to join their team. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience working in a law firm and a strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys
Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings
File documents with state and federal courts (including e-filing)
Maintain case calendars, track deadlines, and coordinate scheduling
Organize and maintain case files, discovery materials, and exhibits
Assist with trial preparation, including witness coordination and exhibit binders
Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel in a professional manner
Perform legal research and fact investigation as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting
Strong knowledge of court rules, filing procedures, and litigation processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software
Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines under pressure
Professional, proactive, and team-oriented work ethic
