Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess mobility, strength, balance, and functional limitations.

• Design and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.

• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and mobility training to maximize recovery.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care providers to ensure coordinated patient care.

• Educate patients and families on safe movement techniques, home programs, and injury prevention strategies.

• Track patient progress, document care accurately, and adjust treatment plans as needed.

• Contribute to hospital-wide quality and patient experience initiatives.

• Adhere to regulatory, safety, and ethical standards of physical therapy practice.

Required Skills/Licenses/Certifications:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy required.

• Active Florida state license as a Physical Therapist required.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

• Strong interpersonal and clinical decision-making skills.

• Prior hospital-based, acute care, or inpatient rehab experience preferred.
