Global Shop Solutions - GSS Administrator

Job Overview
The GSS Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our GSS system to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across departments. While experience with Global Shop Solutions is highly preferred, we welcome candidates with strong ERP administration backgrounds.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY

• Serve as the primary administrator for the company ERP system (Global Shop Solutions).
• Oversee user account management, security roles, and permissions.
• Configure, customize, and maintain ERP modules to meet business needs.
• Act as liaison between business users and ERP support/training resources.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues, escalating to vendor support when necessary.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, and training materials.
• Support ERP upgrades, patches, and new module rollouts.
• Provide ongoing training and support to end users across departments.
• Partner with operations, finance, and engineering to streamline processes and leverage ERP functionality.
• Identify opportunities for system optimization, automation, and reporting improvements.

Desirable Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• ERP administration experience required; Global Shop Solutions experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of ERP processes in manufacturing, inventory, finance, and operations.
• Familiarity with SQL, Crystal Reports, or similar reporting tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical and functional issues.
• Strong communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical users.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience Requirements:

• Prior ERP system implementation or upgrade experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and production workflows.
• Experience with database management and integration.
