BWC's core hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, however, daily start/end times may vary based on operational need across BWC departments. Most positions perform work on-site at one of BWC's seven offices across the state. BWC offers flex-time work schedules that allow an employee to start the day as early as 7:00am or as late as 8:30am. Flex-time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Ensures compliance with state & federal laws/requirements related to Title I and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- Formulates/implements organization-wide ADA policies & procedures and ensures compliance.
- Accountable for receiving, responding to, and approving ADA reasonable accommodation requests from within and outside of BWC.
- Ensures compliance with state & federal laws/requirements related to the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
- Formulates/implements organization-wide FMLA policies & procedures and ensures compliance.
- Receives, reviews, and determines eligibility for FMLA requests submitted by all BWC employees.
- Provides direction/guidance to all levels of management and staff pertaining to ADA and FMLA issues.
- Acts as ADA & FMLA subject matter expert in development of internal training materials and may periodically administer training.
- Supervises one team member.
To Qualify, You Must Clearly Demonstrate:
4 yrs. exp. in human resources.
- Or completion of undergraduate core program in human resources, business or public administration AND 24 mos. exp. in human resources which included 12 mos. exp. in supervisory &/or management principles & techniques.
- Or 12 mos. exp. as Human Capital Management Senior Analyst, 64613.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
