The Ohio Attorney General's Office is seeking an attorney who is licensed in Ohio and has 5 years of litigation experience, to fill the position of Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Rights Section. The applicant should have strong time management, research, writing, and verbal communication skills, a passion for public service, demonstrated commitment to protecting the unprotected, and an ability to work effectively with diverse groups. The Civil Rights Section litigates discrimination cases on behalf of the Ohio Civil Rights Commission. This position will be headquartered in either the Cincinnati or Columbus office, and requires travel around the state and in person in administrative, state, and federal forums.
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio pursuant to Section 4705.01 of the Ohio Revised Code.
- Five or more years of litigation experience
