Summary:

Assist in negotiating agency contracts including contingency and collection fee agreements and dunning criteria. Provide forecasting to determine dollar recoveries expected, by agency monthly- on a running 12-month period. Maintain batch-tracking records on assignments, recalled accounts, agency cancellations, settlements and judgments.

Job Description:

Position is responsible for the management of Huntington's third-party collection agencies. Conducts on-site and off-site audits to ensure agencies are following Huntington's guidelines and adhering to regulatory requirements.

Works on a day to day basis with outside collection agencies, approving settlements, reviewing and resolving issues that may arise. Ongoing reconcilement of inventory and handles discrepancies. Compiles regular reports as needed.

Basic Qualifications

Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.

At least one year of Vendor Management experience or three years of collections experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of FDCPA preferred.

Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and have strong organizational skills. Must have proven PC skills, including Excel and Microsoft Word.

Willing to travel.

Knowledge of CACS, RMS and Hogan systems desired.
