This opportunity seeks a skilled Visually Impaired Teacher to support K-12 students in a Columbus, OH school setting on a contract basis. Key Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments
- Experience working with K-12 students who have visual impairments
- Ability to assess and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive teaching methods
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with educators, families, and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to visually impaired students in accordance with their IEPs
