Brown & Brown is seeking a Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Bethlehem , PA!
The Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager builds client relationships individually and in conjunction with Producers by providing quality customer service to ensure retention of clients.
How You Will Contribute:
Build and strengthen relationships with clients by addressing their needs and resolving policy or underwriting issues.
Maintain strong communication and collaboration with carriers on assigned accounts.
Oversee the full renewal process, including applications, pricing, proposals, and binders.
Proactively seek new business opportunities and referrals to grow your book of business.
Handle daily account management tasks such as policy changes, invoicing, certificates, and coverage questions.
Be available after hours to support client needs via phone or email.
Review contracts and certificate requirements when needed.
Keep client records updated in the agency database.
Document all client communications and information shared.
Meet with clients individually as needed and delegate remarketing tasks when appropriate .
Licenses and Certifications:
CIC or CPCU designation or actively pursuing designation preferred
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred or minimum of two years' experience in the insurance industry.
Regular continuing education focused on coverage issues relevant to current position.
Willingness to work in a team environment and act as a back-up when needed
Professional appearance
Display leadership qualities and characteristics
Skilled and knowledgeable of Word and Excel
Ability and willingness to learn the agency management system
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter with organizational skills and ability to work with details
Good written and oral communication skills
