A corrections facility is seeking a Family Medicine Physician Associate for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Chesapeake, Virginia.

The position has a two-week credentialing timeframe and offers a MondayFriday 8:00 a.m.4:30 p.m. schedule or the option of 4/10s. It is open to physicians as well as autonomous NPs or PAs, with no call required. Providers typically see 1820 adult patients per day and must hold a Virginia license and DEA. Support staff includes RNs and LPNs, and while documentation is paper-based, Sapphire is used for prescriptions.
