TEACHER OF THE DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING

• Possess a NJ DOE certificate Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing: Oral/Aural communication.
• NJ DOE elementary education endorsement – required.
• Knowledge of AVT techniques and sign language communication – preferred.
• Background working with hearing impaired students – preferred.

COMPENSATION RATE/RANGE: $73,690 - $111,682

TEACHER ASSISTANTS (MULTIPLE VACANCIES)

• High School diploma.
• Effective written and oral expression.
• Demonstrated ability to work with or experience working with children with disabilities.
• Must be able to perform physical work, which requires frequent bending and lifting. Independently lift/carry up to 25 lbs., more than 25 lbs. with assistance.
• Experienced computer/clerical skills – highly preferred.
• Willing and able to complete Crisis Management training.

COMPENSATION RATE/RANGE: $32,935-$46,685
