Warehouse Inventory Supervisor

 

  • Working knowledge of various inventory management systems/software.
  • Minimum 5 years of Export Compliance responsibility.
  • Union Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for inventory planning, scheduling and inventory control
  • Ensure compliance with export control regulations for all products and shipments
  • Responsible for overseeing physical inventories/cycle counts/audits/reconciliations
  • Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory
  • Analyze data to anticipate future needs
  • Control budget of the shipping department
  • Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies
  • Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships
  • Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met
  • Strategically manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy, integrity, and alignment with production needs
  • Oversee material and packaging consumption postings to maintain real-time inventory records
  • Align inventory procedures with plant operations to support cycle count programs
  • Contribute to the development of physical inventory calendars and adjustment protocols
  • Design and maintain efficient receiving processes to reduce dock-to-stock time
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Operations to validate incoming materials and packaging against specifications
  • Oversee the daily operations of the stockroom, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound materials

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and/or three (3) years of experience
  • Minimum 5 years of Export Compliance responsibility
  • Union Supervisory experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of various inventory management systems/software
  • Experience preparing and tracking orders
  • Must be focused and own inventory, quality, 5S
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
