Are you an experienced nurse leader passionate about guiding teams, ensuring quality care, and creating a supportive environment for both staff and residents? Lancesoft Inc is seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing to join a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Waconia, MN. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role where your clinical expertise and leadership will make a lasting impact on patient outcomes and staff development.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the nursing department

• Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of patient care programs

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations and policies

• Mentor, supervise, and support nursing staff to foster professional growth and retention

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic care

• Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations for nursing staff

• Monitor quality metrics, implement process improvements, and drive excellence in patient care

Required Skills/Licenses/Certifications:

• Current and active Minnesota RN License (Required)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) – Master’s preferred

• Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care

• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (CMS, Joint Commission, state surveys)

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior DON or ADON experience in skilled nursing or rehab

• Certification in Nursing Administration or Gerontological Nursing
