Daily Responsibilities:

• Review, prepare, and dispense medications accurately in accordance with physician orders

• Verify prescriptions for appropriateness, drug interactions, and dosage accuracy

• Provide clinical consultation and patient education on safe medication use

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal pharmacotherapy

• Monitor patient progress and adjust medication therapy as needed

• Maintain compliance with state/federal regulations and institutional policies

• Document all pharmacy activities in patient records and pharmacy systems

Required Skills/Licenses/Certifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution

• Active Maryland Pharmacist License (Required)

• BLS Certification (Required)

• Minimum 2 years of experience required.

• Must have experience with home infusion.

• Compounding Pharmacy Experience.

• McKesson EMR experience is required.

• Strong knowledge of drug therapies, interactions, and compounding procedures

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous inpatient hospital or specialty pharmacy experience

• Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or related specialty
