Intensive Care Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:45 PM - 6:45 AM

Experience:

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required from the last 4 years.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holidays- Rotate in with perm staff.

Required Skills/Experience: Nurses are responsible to monitor and read own tele. They will keep the occasional surgical peds such as a pedi chole.

Floating Requirements: Do not have to float out; if qualified and credentialed can float to ER

Types of Patients on Unit: Lower of ICU patient, PN, CHF, sepsis, usually do not run high volume, usually run less than 5, no cath lab patients as no interventional cath in house, level of acuity is more of stepdown.

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission

Drivers license required for submission

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
